Rig wash is oil, grease, crude, and hydraulic film on steel, and a lot of it. Hasten Cleanse is a water-based concentrate for pressure washing rigs, pumping units, trucks, and iron: it breaks the bond between the hydrocarbon and the metal, suspends it in the wash water, and does it without solvent vapor, a flash point, or hazardous runoff.

Runs through the pressure washer. Dilute 1:20 to 1:50 in the wash water. Hot water speeds it up.

What It Cleans

Drilling and workover rigs

Substructure, drawworks, mud pumps, iron. Oil and grease film at 1:20.

Pumping units and wellheads

Leaked crude and grease on steel. 1:20, hot water if the crude is heavy.

Vac trucks, hot oilers, frac equipment. 1:50 for light film, 1:20 for heavy.

Shop floors and containment

Concrete with hydrocarbon film. Spray, agitate, rinse.

It removes hydrocarbon film: oil, grease, crude, diesel, hydraulic fluid, paraffin. It is not a solvent or a caustic and it does not strip paint, scale, rust, or anything baked onto the metal. Say what you are cleaning and we will tell you if it fits.

What Hasten Cleanse does not do

It is not a solvent and not a caustic. It will not dissolve, melt, or strip material that is physically bonded or baked onto a surface: scale, rust, hardened deposits, coatings. It lifts hydrocarbons, oil, grease, crude, sludge, and paraffin, by emulsifying them, and it needs agitation, circulation, pressure, or heat to do that work. If your problem is a stuck-on solid rather than a hydrocarbon film or residue, tell us and we will say so.

No. It lifts hydrocarbon film. It is not a solvent or a caustic.

What dilution in the pressure washer?

1:50 for light film, 1:20 for heavy oil and crude. Hot water helps.

Is the runoff a problem?

Non-hazardous. Suspended oil separates at a pit or separator. No added bacteria to upset treatment.

Does it work on crude?

Yes. Heavier crude likes hot water and 1:20.
